In Yakuza: Like A Dragon, traditional series battles are switched up to use turn-based combat. However, while you still cause the teeth of bad guys to rain like New Year’s confetti, how you go about getting punchy is completely different. While having a new protagonist is certainly a major change, it’s not the first game to experiment with new locales. The game also moves location from the series’ pivotal Tokyo district of Kamurocho, and instead takes claim in Isezaku Ijincho. It shakes up the typical Yakuza formula, introducing a new protagonist in the form of Ichiban Kasuga. Yakuza: Like A Dragon, the eighth game in the series, released in Japan in January.

An announcement this week would be great timing, as Steam is celebrating a Golden Week Sale with the aforementioned Yakuza games going at a discount.

Both Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 soon followed, creating a whole new group of Kiryu Majima fans. After all, Sega has been dropping Yakuza games on the store front since 2018 with Yakuza 0. It was only a matter of time for this new Yakuza to eventually make it over and onto Steam. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will get a store page here soon(ish) /ySsvqrNe7x The Twitter user sharing the soon-to-be store page link also pulled that art (which I’m using in this post). Along with its inclusion to SteamDB, we also now have some store page artwork and a proper logo. The listing was spotted and shared to Twitter this morning. Considering its siblings are already available on the store front, it’s not surprising to see its inclusion.

To help users update their code, we have created a migration guide from godot-rust 0.8.x in the user guide. 0.9.0 contains numerous breaking changes from previous versions. The 0.9.0 release consists of a massive redesign of the godot-rust API in order to solve long-standing soundness problems in the old API. This release is made from tag 0.9.1, commit 97a0b41. Missing mathematic methods are added, as well as support for Godot RPC modes, thanks to contributions. 0.9.1 - Ġ.9.1 is an incremental release with mostly bug fixes since the 0.9.0 release. This release is made from tag 0.9.3, commit 574e0f7. The 0.9.2 version is skipped and yanked from crates.io due to an bug that was undetected due to a rustc regression. GodotString supports more operations, and support is added for a few common patterns. 0.9.3 - Ġ.9.3 is an incremental release with improvements in documentation and API completeness. Allows preliminary testing and last-minute feedback. 0.10.0-rc.0 - Ī release candidate for upcoming the upcoming version 0.10.

The API is now much more user-friendly than at version 0.9, with more consistent naming, flatter module structure and fewer redundancies.įor users coming from godot-rust 0.9, the migration guide helps with updating code to 0.10.
